She served as Senior Past President (2018–2019), Junior Past President (2016–2017), President (2014–2015), President-Elect (2013), Vice President Publications (2012–2013, 2010–2011), Vice President Long-Range Planning and Finance (2008–2009), and a Member at Large of the Board of Governors (2004–2006) of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. She is a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society (2020–2021) and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (2020–2021, 2010–2011, 2002–2003). She is a Professional Member of IEEE-HKN and a Life Fellow of the IEEE.

Prof. Shengli Xie, Foreign member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, IEEE Fellow, Winner of the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation, Guangdong University, China


Shengli Xie (Fellow, IEEE) received the M.S. degree in mathematics from Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China, in 1992, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and applications from the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 1997.,He is currently the Director of the Laboratory for Intelligent Information Processing (LIIP) and a Full Professor with the Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou. He has authored or coauthored two monographs and more than 100 scientific articles published in journals and conference proceedings. His current research interests include automatic control and signal processing, especially blind signal processing and image processing.

Prof. Chun-Yi Su, Concordia University, Canada


Dr. Chun-Yi Su received his Ph.D. degrees in control engineering from South China University of Technology in 1990. After a seven-year stint at the University of Victoria, he joined the Concordia University in 1998, where he is currently a Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Honorary Concordia University Research Chair. His research covers control theory and its applications to various mechanical systems, with a focus on control of systems involving hysteresis nonlinearities. He is the author or co-author of over 500 publications, which have appeared in journals, as book chapters and in conference proceedings. He has been identified as Highly Cited Researchers from Clarivate since 2019. 


Dr. Su has served as Associate Editor for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, and several other journals. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE RA Society. He served for many conferences as an Organizing Committee Member, including the General Chairs and Program Chairs.

Prof. Zhi Fang, Dean of College of Electrical Engineering and Control Science, Nanjing Tech University, China


Zhi Fang (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Heilongjiang, China. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 1999, 2002, and 2005, respectively.,He was a Visiting Scholar with A J Drexel Plasma Institute, Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, USA, from 2011 to 2012. He is currently a Professor with Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing, China. His current research interests include the study of atmospheric pressure gas discharge plasmas, high-voltage insulation, and the applications of atmospheric pressure plasma for materials surface processing.,Dr. Fang is a Member of the Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society of the IEEE and the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering.

Prof. Shengquan Li, Yangzhou University, China


Shengquan Li (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Changde, China, in 1982. He received the Ph.D. degree in mechatronics from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2012. From September 2014 to March 2015, he was a Research Assistant with the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, The University of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K. Since 2012, he has been with Yangzhou University, Yangzhou, China, where he is currently an Associate Professor and a Doctoral Supervisor. His research interests include disturbance estimation theories and their applications to renewable energy systems and piezoelectric structural vibration suppression. He has served on the Technical Program Committee for several international conferences, including the IEEE CYBER 2018 andICONIP2018.

Prof. Reggie Davidrajuh, the University of Stavanger, Norway


Reggie Davidrajuh received a Masters Degree in Control Systems Engineering and a PhD in Industrial Engineering, both from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He also received a DSc (habilitation degree) from the AGH University of Science and Technology, Poland. He is now a professor of Informatics at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the University of Stavanger, Norway. He is also a visiting professor to the faculty of mechanical engineering, Silesian University of Technology, Poland. His current research interests are discrete-event dynamic systems, modelling, simulation and performance analysis, algorithms, and graph theory. He is a senior member of IEEE and a Fellow of British Computer Society. He is also a member of the Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences (NTVA).

He Chen (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in automation and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2013 and 2018, respectively.,He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence, Hebei University of Technology, Tianjin, China. His research interests include control of underactuated systems (e.g., cranes) and motion planning of wheeled mobile robots.

Prof. Huimin Ouyang, Vice Dean of  College of Electrical Engineering and Control Sciences, Nanjing Tech University, China 


Huimin Ouyang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and automation from the Tianjin Institute of Urban Construction (now Tianjin Chengjian University), Tianjin, China, in 2005, the M.Eng. degree in mechatronics from the Nagoya Institute of Technology, Nagoya, Japan, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in mechatronics from the Toyohashi University of Technology, Toyohashi, Japan, in 2012.,Since 2012, he has been with the College of Electrical Engineering and Control Science, Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing, China, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His major research interests include system control theory and its application to mechatronics.

Prof. Houxiang Zhang, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway


He received Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering in 2003. From 2004, he worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Technical Aspects of Multimodal Systems (TAMS), Department of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences, University of Hamburg, Germany. In Feb. 2011, he finished the Habilitation on Informatics at University of Hamburg.


Dr. Zhang joined the NTNU, Norway in April 2011 where he is a Professor on Robotics and Cybernetics. From 2011-2016, he hold a gift professorship on product and system design from the industry too. The focus of his research lies on two areas. One is on biological robots and modular robotics. The second focus is on virtual prototyping and maritime mechatronics. In these areas, he has published over 200 journal and conference papers and book chapters as author or co-author. Recently, he received four best paper awards at the Robotic conferences, and four finalist awards for best conference paper at IEEE Robotics and Automation conferences.

Prof.Zehui Mao, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China


Zehui Mao (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2009.,She is currently a Professor with the College of Automation Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. She was a Visiting Scholar with the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, USA. She worked in the areas of fault diagnosis, with particular interests in nonlinear control systems, sampled-data systems and networked control systems. Her current research interests include fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control of systems with disturbance and incipient faults, and high-speed train and spacecraft flight control applications.

Prof. Chao Shang, Tsinghua University, China


Chao Shang (Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in automation and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2011 and 2016, respectively.,After working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA, he joined the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, in 2018, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include a range of data-driven modeling, monitoring, diagnosis, and optimization with applications to industrial manufacturing bbreak processes.

Prof. Ning Sun, Nankai University, China


Ning Sun received the B.S. degree in measurement & control technology and instruments (with honors) from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering (with honors) from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2014. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE. He is currently a Professor with the Institute of Robotics and Automatic Information Systems, Nankai University, Tianjin, China. His research interests include intelligent control for mechatronic/robotic systems with an emphasis on (industrial) applications.


Dr. Sun received the Machines 2021 Young Investigator Award, the prestigious Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan (Standard), the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Excellent Youth Award in 2019, the ICCAR 2022 Young Scientist Award, the China 10 Scientific and Technological Developments in Intelligent Manufacturing of 2019, several outstanding journal/conference paper awards, etc. He serves as an Associate Editor for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Systems Journal, and Journal of Field Robotics. In addition, he has been an Associate Editor of the IEEE CSS Conference Editorial Board since July 2019, and he is/was an Associate Editor for the top robotics conferences IEEE ICRA and IEEE/RSJ IROS.

Hui Yi (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in control science and engineering from the College of Automation Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2005 and 2012, respectively.,In 2012, he joined the College of Electrical Engineering and Control Science, Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing, as a Lecturer, where he is currently an Professor. His current research interests include fault diagnosis, health monitoring, and artificial intelligence.

Prof. Yajun Liu was born on September 20, 1974 in Jiangxi, China. Native speaker of Chinese, fluent in English. His Education and Academic Research Experiences is as follows: December, 2016- Now Professor in South China University of Technology School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. December, 2009- December, 2010. Visiting Professor in Fluid Power Research Center (FPRC) Purdue University at West Lafayette, USA. Feb, 2005 – July, 2016. Post-doctoral Research Fellow, Tokheim JV company in China. June, 2002 Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering. South China University of Technology, Guangzhou,China. 


His research interests include Digital signal processing technology and its application in mechanical systems (such as hydraulic System for Energy Saving.); Intelligence control and Manufacturing Engineering. Moreover, Prof. Yajun Liu has published more than 270 papers in Journals and proceedings of international conferences. 40+ patents on Mechanical System design and manufacturing. My tentative title of presentation:signal processing method for Coriolis mass flowmeter based on deep learning.

Prof. Junxiao Wang, Zhejiang University of Technology, China


Junxiao Wang (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in automation and the M.S. degree in control theory and control engineering from the School of Information Engineering, Henan University of Science and Technology, Luoyang, China, in 2008 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from the School of Automation, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2017.,From 2015 to 2016, he was a visiting Ph.D. student with the Institute for Electrical Drive Systems and Power Electronics, Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany. He is currently with the College of Information Engineering, Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, China. His research interests include advanced control theory and its application to power electronics and motion control systems.,Dr. Wang was the recipient of 2017 IET Premium Award for best paper in IET Control Theory & Applications (First Author). He serves as an Associate Editor for International Journal of Electronics and Letters.

Dr. Wei Sun (back), Associate Professor. Liaocheng University "Light Yue Scholar", Liaocheng University "Light Yue Young Scholars Innovation Team" - intelligent analysis and optimization control innovation team leader, Senior Member of IEEE, Associate editor of International SCI Journal Information Sciences and International Journal of Fuzzy Systems. Research interests: nonlinear system control, intelligent control algorithm. He presided over one National Natural Science Foundation project, one key project of Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, and one project of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has won the second and third prizes of the Outstanding Achievement Award of Shandong Province Graduate students. Won the first prize of 2021 Liaocheng University Science and Technology Outstanding Achievement Award. First or corresponding author in the last five years in IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems,  IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics:  System, International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, Information Sciences, etc have published more than 40 SCI indexed papers, 19 of which have been included in IEEE Transactions; 7 papers were selected as ESI highly cited papers.

Yougang Sun (S’16–M’18) received the B.S. degree in material formation and control engineering from Soochow University, Suzhou, China, in 2011, the M.S. (Hons.) degree in mechatronics engineering from Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai, China, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in mechatronics engineering from Tongji University, Shanghai, in 2017. From 2013 to 2018, he was a Mechatronics Engineer with Shanghai Maritime University. Since 2018, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Maglev Transportation Engineering R&D Center, Tongji University. His current research interests include maglev trains, offshore cranes, quay cranes, and nonlinear control with applications to mechatronic systems. Dr. Sun is a Program Committee Member for several international conferences, including 2018 IEEE International Conference on CYBER Technology in Automation, Control, and Intelligent Systems.
